Experience in the field of organometallic synthesis and catalysis, as well as thin-film deposition, nanofabrication and material characterization. nanoGUNE is a renowned research center focused in nanoscience and nanotechnology. It contributes to CTECHnano with additional people expert in ALD. The nanomaterials research group of the center, is led by Ikerbasque Research Professor Mato Knez. Laboratories are fully equipped with additional deposition systems (ALD, CVD and PVD), equipment for structural, chemical, and physical characterization, and a 300 sqm clean room.
